DIM SUM DISPATCH · 2025
The Dim Sum Dispatch is a fun little newspaper that was designed and printed as a joyful accompaniment to a bike ride exploring various dim sum bakeries across San Francisco’s different neighborhoods.
It features articles about the various stops planned for the bike ride, a full-color illustrated spread of different dim sum, fun horoscopes, a crossword puzzle, and—of course—obituaries for all the dim sum devoured along the way.

The center spread was illustrated and designed to resemble a full-page newspaper ad / poster that can be put up on a wall as a souvenir from the dim sum bike ride!
The Dim Sum Dispatch was printed on newsprint paper to give it an authentic, old-school look. Fresh off the press, each copy was then carefully folded by hand—just like the little dim sum parcels featured in its pages. :)
It also featured a whole themed crossword by @dandy.davey, which was successfully cracked during a coffee break along the way!
This little print project, as well as the bike ride was a collaborative effort made possible with the help of @dandy.davey <3
